Stool
We designed and made a stool with a special clamping conection. The stool is made out of old pine wood palets. We disassembled the palets, planed the beams and worked from there on like it was new wood. The clamping bolts are made out of aluminum. The bolts are turned on a lathe and the holes are drilled on a milling machine. We leached the wood to achive a nice bright surface and to prevent yellowing of the wood.

The general design of the wood stool is modern and clean. Simple geometric shapes characterize its appearance. The edges are rounded and provide a nice, soft appearance. This leads to a clean and modern but warm design. The leached wood creates a natural and modern scandinavian look and the interplay between the aluminium connectors and the wedge-shaped wooden tenons creates exciting details.
